What’s a NavDoc?

Esther Polak and Ivar van Bekkum, operating under the name PolakVanBekkum, invented the term NavDoc for their project “250 Miles Crossing Philadelphia”.

The project combines innovative binaural sound and  movements recorded from humans and non humans. It creates an imitate window into The Everyday.

This trailer (best with earphones) gives a good impression.

The NavDoc solely runs in Google Earth. Especially for this approach a Python Plug-in for QGIS (an open source GIS platform) is developed by Sean McGinnis and Edward Farrel.
